Not the news I wanted to hear...

So...I had my first doctor's appointment for my pregnancy on 10-31-17.  The doctor checked me.  and we discussed the option of having my tubes tied.  We also discussed the fact that because I am diabetic and my pregnancy is high risk, my doctor is referring me to the high risk OB Clinic.  I was not happy to hear that but I understood that it was for the best.  She also advised that more than likely, I will be put back on insulin and will have to check my blood sugars 3x daily.  It sucks, but I know the routine all to well.  I only dislike the high risk clinic because I would see different doctors all the time.  I dont even know who did my c-section with my second baby.  I just wanted to see a familiar face.  But, such is my life.  On the good news side of things, my A1C was 6.2 and at my previous visit it was 6.7.  So she did say that my diabetes was very controlled and she was proud of me.  It takes a lot of will power and strength to take care of me.  However, I am not perfect.  I do make mistakes.  But I also have a lot of motivation to keep me going.  Post some words of encouragement.  Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my blog!!!
