Not gonna let it bring me down!

I was dealt a really hard blow yesterday.  I will not go into details, but I am still in shock over what happened. I guess the moral of the story is that you can only help people so much. They have to want to help themselves.  This is coming at a time when I feel so vulnerable because I am trying to do so good in my life.  However, I will not let anyone steal my thunder.  I love how my husband stepped up when I needed him the most.  I vow to love my little family now more than ever and cherish all the moments we have together. If other people want to waste their time on things and people that are not worth it, then so be it. I refuse to let anyone bring me down anymore.  I have dealt with a lot of negative people, and I have had lots of negative things happen to me. It has made me who I am today.  I could have easily been a drug addict. I could have easily used all the negative in my life to become someone just like the people that tend to hurt me the most.  But I refuse. And I will be damned if I let anyone do the same to my kid.  Therefore, this is my pledge to know my limits, to set my boundaries, and to never let myself get stepped all over, ever again.  I just want everyone to know that everyday we are given choices. We are given the free will to make our lives the best it can possibly be.  We need to live life each day like it is our last.  Make so many memories that you will always look back and remember a smile, a twinkle in someone's eye.  Dont lose yourself in the world.  Let the world get lost in you.  Make yourself memorable, so that the people you come in contact with everyday will remember you.  Make each second, each minute, each hour of every day count!!!!

Trying!!

I have been trying really hard to stay on the healthy binge I have put myself on.  I have been doing really good.  I havent been to weigh myself, but I am feeling really good about the lifestyle I am creating for my family and myself.  Need to find somewhere I can weigh myself. Still on the herbalife. Unfortunately, my husband has lost his motivation, and has stopped drinking the meal replacement shakes.  Gosh!!! I will not lose my motivation. I need to be healthy.

I dont know about anyone else but being a working woman is hard! I only have one child but having a full time, Monday thru Friday, 8-5 job is tiring. On top of that, I have an ongoing battle with Diabetes.  I have read so many articles regarding the do's and dont's of eating and surviving Diabetes.  My husband and I have recently begun a journey with Herbalife and we will be updating our succes on this blog.  I will also post websites, recipes, and other things from other websites, so that good and helpful info can reach everyone.
